It Seems Like My Roommate Likes Me Chapter 24

Chapter 24

On his way, Jiang Zhong had been pushing his suitcase and carrying breakfast, with his hands freezing from the cold wind.

“Ugh—” Xi Qin inhaled sharply from the sensation.

Jiang Zhong tried to pull his hand, which Xi Qin was holding, back, clenching it into a fist and not daring to open it and press it against Xi Qin’s stomach. “What are you doing? It’s really cold.”

“Don’t move,” Xi Qin whispered, tucking Jiang Zhong’s other hand under his shirt. “I’ll warm you up.”

After a long moment of holding, Jiang Zhong gently touched Xi Qin’s warm abdomen with his fingers.

“Press it against me,” Xi Qin held Jiang Zhong’s hands from the outside, rolled up the hem of his shirt, and covered both of Jiang Zhong’s hands. “Can you feel my abs?”

“Yeah,” Jiang Zhong, blushing, rubbed a bit. “I can feel them.”

“Do you like it?” Xi Qin asked enticingly.

“Yes,” Jiang Zhong buried his face in Xi Qin’s shoulder. “Actually, I have abs too, but they’re not as hard as yours…”

Xi Qin muttered a curse under his breath and pressed his lips to Jiang Zhong’s ear. “Stop talking, babe. You almost made me freeze, and now you’ve got me going again.”

Jiang Zhong’s mind only echoed the word “babe,” and he was momentarily confused about Xi Qin’s meaning. “What?”

Xi Qin slowly and deliberately said two words.

Jiang Zhong looked up. “I… what?”

Xi Qin immediately pressed down on Jiang Zhong’s body, laughing. “Isn’t it normal? I just woke up and have been holding you like this for a while.”

“Then go to the bathroom and take care of it,” Jiang Zhong struggled. “Let me go.”

“I don’t want to,” Xi Qin held Jiang Zhong’s waist tightly. “Don’t move. You’re making me even more excited.”

Jiang Zhong’s body stiffened at the words, unable to move forward or backward, his face flushed with embarrassment.

“A kiss?” Xi Qin asked softly.

“…Won’t that make you even more excited?” Jiang Zhong was skeptical.

“Yes,” Xi Qin affirmed.

“Then—”

Before Jiang Zhong could refuse, Xi Qin leaned down and sealed his lips with a kiss.

While being kissed and feeling dizzy, Jiang Zhong was frustrated in his heart. What’s the point of Xi Qin asking if he wants a kiss every time?

In the end, it was always the same!

Fifteen minutes later, Jiang Zhong was in the kitchen, taking the breakfast out of the food bag and putting it on plates, while Xi Qin was in the bathroom washing up.

Jiang Zhong glanced at the bathroom door and suddenly remembered something.

When they kissed earlier, Xi Qin hadn’t brushed his teeth!

Oh well, it didn’t have any bad odor and… it was actually quite sweet.

Must be psychological, Jiang Zhong quickly grabbed a small steamed bun and stuffed it into his mouth.

He carried the plates to the dining table and went back to the kitchen to get two pairs of chopsticks. Just then, Xi Qin came out of the bathroom.

Jiang Zhong’s gaze uncontrollably drifted below Xi Qin’s belly button, between his legs. “You… are pretty quick, huh?”

“What are you thinking about?” Xi Qin walked over, bending his index finger and gently tapping Jiang Zhong’s forehead. “It’s not resolved.”

Jiang Zhong lifted a hand to cover his forehead, feigning grievance. “If it’s not resolved, why are you still messing around?”

Xi Qin cooperatively blew on Jiang Zhong’s forehead, then rubbed it and muttered, “Rub it away, rub it away, don’t let your mom see when you get home.”

“What the heck?” Jiang Zhong laughed.

“A little rub and it won’t hurt,” Xi Qin poked Jiang Zhong’s face. “I already have a boyfriend, so you won’t need to handle it yourself anymore, right?”

Jiang Zhong turned and walked away.

Xi Qin followed him, asking, “Hmm? I’m asking you, do you still need to handle it yourself?”

Ignoring him, Jiang Zhong picked up a small steamed bun from the plate and held it up to Xi Qin’s mouth. “Shut up and eat.”

Xi Qin opened his mouth and ate the bun, mumbling, “Why are you so easily embarrassed? It’s just too cute.”

Jiang Zhong shot back, “Why are you always so shameless? It’s really outrageous.”

“You’re so cute that I really want to bully you,” Xi Qin continued.

“You’re so shameless that I really want to hit you,” Jiang Zhong retorted.

“Do you want to hit me, or should I bully you?” Xi Qin asked eagerly.

“Get lost,” Jiang Zhong said tersely.

So, Xi Qin obediently sat down in a chair and faced Jiang Zhong for breakfast.

“Ha—” After a while, Jiang Zhong suddenly couldn’t stop laughing.

Xi Qin, with a straw in his mouth, looked up at him with a puzzled expression.

“Do you know what my mom told me last night?” Jiang Zhong said with a smile.

“What?”

Jiang Zhong quoted out of context: “She told me not to get you pregnant before marriage.”

Xi Qin: “……”

What the hell?

Seeing the dumbfounded look on Xi Qin’s face, Jiang Zhong couldn’t help but laugh: “So, how about it? Are you willing to have a child for the Jiang family?”

“Let me be blunt.” Xi Qin, with a gentlemanly demeanor, pulled out a tissue to wipe his mouth, “You probably won’t have the chance to get anyone pregnant in this lifetime.”

“Right.” Jiang Zhong nodded, “Even if I wanted to, your belly wouldn’t get big.”

“What I mean is,” Xi Qin squinted slightly, “You might not get the chance with anyone at all.”

“Oh?” Jiang Zhong mimicked Xi Qin’s gesture, narrowing his eyes mysteriously, “Is that how you see me?”

“That’s how I see myself.” Xi Qin “threatened” with a mock serious tone, “So it’s also how I see you. In any case, don’t think about changing boyfriends in this lifetime. Otherwise… hehe.”

“Wow, you scared me,” Jiang Zhong smirked, “Otherwise what?”

Xi Qin smiled and pinched Jiang Zhong’s face gently, his tone extremely soft: “I’ll make sure you can’t get out of bed.”

“Cough, cough,” Jiang Zhong choked for a moment, his composure instantly broken, “I’m not talking to you anymore, you pervert.”

Xi Qin smiled helplessly. If he couldn’t argue, he’d just tease. It was really… cute.

“Ah—” Jiang Zhong leaned against the countertop, watching Xi Qin wash the dishes, yawning five times in two minutes.

Xi Qin turned and looked at him: “Full and sleepy? Are you… one of those really cute animals?”

Jiang Zhong, lacking the energy to banter, glanced lazily at him.

“Ah—” Jiang Zhong let out his sixth yawn slowly.

“Didn’t sleep well?”

“Yeah.”

“Go take a nap.”

“Sleep in your bed?”

“Otherwise?” Xi Qin said, “If you sleep in my bed, you’ll be mine.”

“And you?” Jiang Zhong tried to hold on, “I came here to hang out with you. What would you do if I slept?”

“Hmm… I’ll also sleep. Just give me two more minutes to finish washing up.”

“Uh,” Jiang Zhong’s eyes darted around, “Shall we sleep together?”

“Otherwise?” Xi Qin chuckled quietly, “Do you want me to sleep on the floor?”

Since this was Xi Qin’s home, it would seem a bit inhumane for Jiang Zhong to take Xi Qin’s bed while making Xi Qin sleep on the floor.

Jiang Zhong hesitated before speaking: “Aren’t you just getting up? You sleep, eat, and eat, sleep. You seem more like a pig.”

“Alright, then I won’t sleep,” Xi Qin conceded, then proposed, “I’ll coax you to sleep, a free sleep service, guaranteed satisfaction.”

“I don’t need it.” Jiang Zhong firmly rejected.

“You do need it.” Xi Qin wouldn’t take no for an answer. He put the last plate into the cupboard, dried his hands, and then turned to pull Jiang Zhong along. “Come on, don’t be shy.”

This was Jiang Zhong’s first time in Xi Qin’s bedroom.

The room was decorated in shades of gray and white, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious wooden bed, and the same type of wood used for the floor and stairs.

Because Xi Qin had hurriedly gotten up to open the door after receiving Jiang Zhong’s message, the curtains were still drawn.

Xi Qin turned on the bedroom light. The bed was slightly messy.

Jiang Zhong felt overwhelmed by the scent of Xi Qin all around him, creating a sense of being surrounded.

“Do you want to change into a lighter outfit?” Xi Qin opened the wardrobe and asked, “Wear my pajamas? I don’t have any new ones at the moment.”

“Okay, okay.” Jiang Zhong’s tongue felt a bit tied up. “Oh, no need, I brought my own.”

He then hurriedly ran downstairs to find his suitcase.

Xi Qin waited patiently by the bed for a long time. Only after a while did Jiang Zhong slowly reappear at the bedroom door, now wearing a white long-sleeve T-shirt and gray loose-fitting leisure pants.

“Ah,” Xi Qin sighed, “You just didn’t want to change clothes in front of me, huh?”

Jiang Zhong remained silent and stood a meter away from Xi Qin.

“You’ve changed clothes in the dorm before,” Xi Qin feigned innocence, “Am I that scary?”

It’s not the same at all, Jiang Zhong thought. There were also Deng Letian and Xiao Yuan in the dorm.

“Why are you standing so far away?” Xi Qin reached out to Jiang Zhong, “Come a bit closer.”

For some reason, Jiang Zhong suddenly felt like running away. Xi Qin looked like a wolf in this state.

“Don’t smile,” Jiang Zhong said, watching the smile gradually appear on Xi Qin’s face, “You look like a perverted murderer in the early stages of committing a crime.”

“Is it that scary?” Xi Qin’s smile grew wider, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you for now.”

“Really?” Jiang Zhong clearly didn’t believe him.

“Really.” Xi Qin said as he stood up and walked towards Jiang Zhong.

Jiang Zhong instinctively kept backing away until his back was pressed against the wardrobe door.
